Old Fandom
Feb. 12th, 2012 11:45 amI'm watching old KAT-TUN videos I found in my collection. I don't remember any of this! But it's coming back to me as I watch.
I'm impressed all over again by their energy. Given those two-hour concerts with all the dancing, acrobatics, and singing (all live, no cheating with lip syncing, like with a lot of Western pop acts). Very impressed. And they're all charming boys.
But the whole Johnny's marketing machine still freaks me out.
So, nope, not much has changed about my reaction. Still a bunch of hard-working, charismatic, somewhat talented (come on, their singing leaves something to be desired) young people, but I still don't like the industry they're involved with.
