The Things I Find on the Footpath Song

elfinblazeSince it's been raining so much this year I thought I should share my "Things I Find on the Footpath" song in honour of the drought being broken. I sing it often mornings and afternoons as I walk to and from the bus stop. It goes something like this, although it varies depending on what I see and am trying to avoid stepping on:
"Slug, slug, slug, snail! Slug, slug, ooh, pretty slug! Slug, worm! Slug, ooh, baby snail! Slug, slug- BUNNY!"
The last one has nothing to do with the footpath, but is just an exclamation that interrupts any song I'm singing as I pass by the house that keeps a bunny in their front yard. For example, when I was singing The Whomping Willows' "The House of Awesome Theme Song":
"So I'm starting a new House and it's called Awesome,
Staring a new House and it's called- BUNNY!"
On another note, Sydney Potter Girls, we need to organise a time to meet up! Anyone else want to go see Deathly Hallows on Saturday 20th? That's end of next week. We'll do what we did last year? Cause that was awesome and we all need to meet up like that again. I may or may not be wearing mysister's old school Slytherin tie, because it's too warm for scarves.
Speaking of Harry Potter Darren Criss (Harry, in A Very Potter Musical) will be singing on Glee tomorrow. [preview] That's Tuesday for Americans and Wednesday for Australians because we're finally watching the same episodes at the same time, for once!
And lastly, my mother's surgery has been moved again, because the doctor is sick. -_-;; I'll let you know what happens there.
