Life Update
Jul. 1st, 2011 06:56 pmEvidently I'm still watching The Glee Project. I wasn't planning to watch past the first episode and yet here I am having watched three. Stupid show, stop being so damn charming!
Entertainment of the day:
*phone rings*
Me: Hello, Physiotherapy. Regi speaking.
Person over phone: Hello, it's Mrs B, here. No it's not. It's Mrs H. I don't know who I am.
Although I did recognise her voice and her pen name before she corrected herself. Thankfully she was laughing as much as I was. So if you ever start a phone call by forgeting your own name, don't worry, you're not alone.
Meanwhile, it's tax time in Australia. I'm staring at my bedroom floor remembering how I resolved to be more organised last year. I make the same resolution every year, and every year it goes right out the window and I'm still left hunting for bank statements come July. Just watch, in three months time I'll make another post in which I freak out about not having done my tax yet and not being able to find various bits of paper.
The problem with being a writer? Too much paper everywhere.
Is every creative person as disorganised as I am, or just the ones I know?
