Riding bicycles with umbrellas? That's nothing, says Harley Mitchell, formerly of Summer Hill, now of Karlsruhe, Germany, who has seen German cyclists riding while reading books, and one riding his bike while carrying another bike above his head (using two hands). Unglaublich! Bicycles with umbrellas? Debbie Harrison is back from a trip to Laos, where she saw countless people on mopeds carrying open umbrellas - sorry, I don't know how to say "Incredible!" in Lao. (SMH, 2004.10.30)
I saw some cool stuff in Karlsruhe, but never a cyclist carrying a bike over their head. O_o
