For the past two days I've listened to nothing but Evanescence and HIM. Yay for pop-goth. ~_^

I like both bands' music, but honestly, I still like HIM's lyrics better. If Evanescence's lyrics are, "I'm committing suicide, I'm dying," then HIM's lyrics would be, "let's commit suicide together because we love each other, we're dying together."

I went to sleep last night listening to both artists though.

arna_ki has a theory that if you can fall asleep to music, you know it's gotta be good music. Because if it's not good music you get irritated and want to get up to change it, so then you can't fall asleep. I think I have to agree with her on that. I can fall asleep to many types of music: sometimes it's soft classical music, and other times it's heavy metal played at full volume on my discman. But if I were hearing jazz or country music I would be climbing the walls before I managed to get to sleep. x_x
